My strength

These two darlings are certainly my daily strength with Brian gone. One look at each of them... even in the middle of the night during a feeding or dealing with a 2-year-old tantrum... and it gives me the ability to dig a little deeper and find the strength I need to get us through another deployment.

Yesterday, we went to Grannie & Poppie's house for dinner (hadn't seen them in almost a week) and Thomas had a new little surprise waiting for him. Check out his thrift store find (for the bargain price of $2) - after a scrub with water and bleach, it was as good as new and he LOVED it. It was perfect for him to pull around and fill with all kinds of little treasures on his walk in the neighborhood. The wagon we have (which seats 2 kids and is pulled by an adult) is much too big & bulky for him to pull around... this one is perfect. You gotta love a bargain.

Grannie was the sucker this time who got roped into pulling the wagon while Thomas kicked back and enjoyed the ride. Notice again he is watching the wheels get clean as they ride through the puddle. What a hoot he is.
