Part I of our vacation

Mommy and I are on vacation in St. Pete Beach, FL with Nana. Well, I'm on vacation and mommy is going to a workshop for one of the classes she teaches. We are having a good time in the pools and the beach. We are here for a few days and then we are heading over to the East Coast of Florida to visit with lots of family who are also going to be visiting. More pictures to come.

Amazement & Curiousity

Grannie bought this new push & riding Pooh toy for me. It makes so many different sounds & noises as well as lots of push buttons. The front even lights up - it is so neat! I am just amazed & curious with how it works.

Gearing up for the weekend

Mommy & I are just gearing up for the weekend. Playing with toys, eating some yummy bananas at breakfast and going on a morning run with mommy & Ziggy (I ride along while they run).

Birthday Bash

I'm just enjoying the birthday cake and the presents - what more could a birthday boy want? Actually - I really want Daddy to be here, but I know that he will be home soon enough and then we can really have fun.

Birthday Boy!

Happy Birthday Thomas! From day 1, when we laid eyes on you for the first time - we loved you with all of our hearts.

Happy Birthday Thomas! One year later, we love you even more - messiness and all!

Does it really matter?

Does it really matter how you use the slide? Sometimes I just prefer to climb up the slide and other times I'll use the ladder. Either way - I have a great time on it. I love pushing my duckies down the slide and then I try and go down after them. Look at me standing "one-footed" on the ladder...can you tell that I'm a big boy and almost one years old? This week has been an exciting transition week for mommy. She couldn't believe that when she switched my bottle from formula and milk that I didn't fuss at all. I actually really like milk. So... I made things easy on mommy there. Next, she has replaced my day time bottles with full use of the Sippy Cup. I did pretty good this past weekend and this is my last week of daycare because its summer time and I get to stay home with mommy. One more excited thing happened - I took a few steps ALL by myself. Mommy had to do some coaxing along, but I did it! It won't be long now until I'm running after Ziggy all over the house.

Got to learn how to swim

Mommy & me had so much fun tonight at our first swimmy lesson at the YMCA. I already really liked the water but we got to learn how to "hop" to the side of the pool, blow bubbles, go underwater and kick our feeties to make big splashes. It was so much fun. I was the second to youngest in my class but I still did really good. At the end of the class, we got to slide down the slide and make a big splash. I can't wait to go tomorrow night.

Swimming like a fishy

Swimming like a fishy... I LOVE the water! I love splashing, playing and I don't even care if the water gets in my eyes, my nose or my mouth. I'm clearly my mommy & daddy's son because they love the water just as much.

Pure silliness

Mommy took me and Ziggy to the water that is around the corner from our house yesterday. We just love how beautiful it is - I know Daddy is missing this view right now big time! "Don't worry Daddy - when you get back we are going FISHING!"

"Mommy is there something on my face?"

This is what happens when dinner gets messy - somehow it ends up in my hair and then it easily stands up by itself! This is just pure silliness!

Taking Ziggy's toys

I tried to play with Ziggy and his toys, but he does NOT like to share. It was still fun though - one day I'm just going to have to trick him and take his toys when he is not looking. I love my Ziggy though...
