Fishing with the boys

Tonight we thought we would take Thomas & Zig out to a local dock & boat ramp that is close by the house just to let them both smell some salt air & be on the water. Thomas brought along his new (birthday) fishing rod and Zig got to bring a tennis ball which he attempted to chase into the water. Ryan's Pinfish trap (bait fish)

Daddy found a hermit crab nearby; Thomas was amazed that he went back into his little "house" and you couldn't see him.

It is illegal to take anyones traps, but we just had to take look in someone's crab trap - wouldn't you know that there was a big old fat blue crab in there. Whoa, he would be some good eat'ins!



While Daddy was coaxing Ziggy to get into the water to get his tennis ball (obviously Zig is NOT part Lab... he was very uneasy about getting into the water) - Ryan tried to help Thomas with his fishing rod.

Daddy actually got into the water (he even was able to get down the slick ramp without falling on his butt) in order to get Ziggy to fetch the ball. Ha-ha... Ziggy wasnt' playing that game.
