Friday involved us driving over to P'cola with my mother-in-law in the late morning looking for fabric and a pattern for my window treatments that I will finally put in the two front rooms of the house (formal living & dining rooms). Now that we have those rooms furnished - the white faux blinds just aren't cutting it anymore... needs some decorativeness to it. So... we were busy looking and trying to make decisions. Hopefully, soon my windows will not be so "naked".
OK... that brings us to today (Saturday). Brian went on a run this morning with Thomas... it has been awhile since Thomas was in the running stroller due to my pregnancy and Brian always being TDY. Needless to say, it got some good use today and Thomas got to sit back and enjoy the sites (and actually go fast... at least compared to how fast/slow I run). Speaking of jogging strollers... I need to sell this one. Don't get me wrong, I love it. It is a BabyJogger, but it is only a single. That definately is not going to do me any good once I have had the baby and can start exercising. So... it looks like we are going to try and list it on Craigslist in the coming days. Hopefully that will get some hits and we can send this stroller on its way to another good home. Watch out dualie... here I come.
Brian and I went out on a "date" tonight - it was much needed. Matter of fact, it was probably overdue, but regardless... we enjoyed our date night thanks to my in-laws who watched Thomas for a good chunk of the day. Matter of fact, when I brought Thomas over to their house today - this is what was waiting for him...
Yes... a new garage table (especially made for his height) and some new trucks as well as a race car track. Oh it was a little boy's heaven! My MIL said that Thomas played in the garage for close to an hour before he even wanted to come in the house. So much for missing his Mommy. Anyway, Brian I went to the movies in Destin (saw "The Proposal") and practically pee'd our pants laughing... funny movie. Then we headed over to Mellow Mushroom Pizza to meet several of my girlfriends I teach with and their hubbies. We were actually celebrating the engagement of Adrianna and Billy and also to say our goodbyes to them since they are heading up to the DC area. They will certainly be missed. Anyway... a night out was much needed and I actually am feeling a little refreshed (even though it is 11:15PM). It must be the alone & adult time I had with my sweetie pie husband.

Video Clip - OK... before signing off for the night, I thought I would share a video clip from this week. Thomas is singing & dancing up a storm. I have NO earthly idea what he is singing, but he does this atleast once a day and keeps Brian and I laughing hysterically. The latest addition to this act is the new arm movement he has included. We also think he is looking at himself in the glass of the wine cabinet when he is dancing... I guess he is checking himself out... Enjoy!
