Staying cool

When Thomas woke up from his nap yesterday, I didn't feel like putting us back into the car to go anywhere (not even Poppie's pool), so we did the backyard "thing." I filled up the pool (complete with slide) and positioned it just so in the shade and we ended up playing outside for almost 2 hours. Actually - in the shade & with the breeze, you would have never known it was 96 degrees out. Here he is having a good old time with the hose - most of the fun was aimed at me which was alright... it kept me cool. Actually, I spent about half the time sitting in the pool anyway (I'm sure I looked like a beached whale)... good times!!!
