The other girl

So I have written several times about all the "bad" reports that Abby gets from school daily but I have to tell you that I very often see a different side; I get to see the other girl quite a bit. At 14 months old, some of my favorite things about Abbigail are:

  • her smile... it makes me melt.
  • her curiousity
  • her petite size... it is deceiving to those who don't know her & all she can do
  • the way she leans into her kisses when you ask her for one
  • how she is starting to "run" and swings only one of her arms for momentium
  • how she is a HUGE snuggler in the morning and the late afternoons
  • her giggle and laugh as her brother chases her or hugs her on the ground
  • the way she lights up when she get to be on Thomas' big bed
  • how tiny she looks in her Daddy's arms
  • her baby blue eyes... soft & sweet
  • how she sits and flips through her books like she is intently studing the story & reading
  • the way she falls asleep snuggling with 2 soft babies and 2 blankets anll tucked underneath her
  • her defiant way of saying "no" by shaking her head and doing an-about-face and running away
  • how she wants to sit in your lap... she turns her back to you and puts herself in reverse and backs up to you and then plops down!
  • the way she walks around the bathroom at bedtime with her toothbrush hanging out of her mouth while playing with toys... not sure its effective, but it is cute
  • how much she wants to bring ___________ over to ___________ (usually Daddy or Thomas)... she is so proud of herself for being the deliverer!
  • Did I mention her sweet kisses?
This is the other girl... our Abbigail Grace.
