Memorial Day Fun

Memorial Day Weekend was absolutely relaxing and enjoyable for all of us. For Brian, it was a 4 day weekend (Friday was a "down day") which included an offshore fishing day with good friends. Saturday was a family day that had us in town grocery shopping and picking out birthday party "stuff" for a soon-to-be-THREE-year-old. I'm sure most of you will not be surprised at all to find that Thomas picked out "CARS" as his party theme. The rest of the day we hung out indoors as the rain/thunder storms passed through in the afternoon.

Sunday was a full day out at Nana's house at a Memorial Day BBQ which included friends and family who helped celebrate our Veterans and all those who are/have served & sacrificed for our freedoms! In our family - Daddy (AF), Poppie (CG), Grandpa Sullivan (AF), Grandpa Heck (AF), Uncle Keith (AF), and Uncle Tom (AF) have all worn the uniform and served our nation in the greatest way. Thank you so much.

Of course at Nana's house we enjoyed a beautiful afternoon of pool time. Abby even tried out her new baby float and actually like it!

Thomas is starting to get in the swing of jumping into the pool from the edge and also having Daddy throw him up into the air and make a big splash in the water.
Poppie, Thomas & Daddy enjoying some pool time.
Although we go by new names (Davis & Heck respectively)...
We will always be known as the Sullivan Sisters!
The weekend ended on Monday with one final BBQ at Grannie's house where there was more food, good company and more pool time. Everything we did together was about enjoying each other and just relaxing. There is nothing more precious & special than time with your loved ones to offset all the time that we spend apart from each other.
