I've had a lot of "first days" as a teacher, but no "first day" stands out like this photo to me.
This was taken on the first day of school in the last year I taught at CHS.
Wow, on one hand it just seems like the other day, but on the other hand, I look at how little Thomas & Abby were back when there were just two baby Hecks.
And on a side note, we sure do miss all of the teachers at CCN where they cared for my kiddos like they were their very own children. Every day was filled with fun, learning, & love.
