At just over 12 months old, Marilyn...
- is really a very good eater. Especially bananas, spaghetti, cheese & cookies. But whatever is on her plate, she usually has no problem finishing.
- Still loves her bottle at naptime & bedtime. Did I mention she loves milk too?
- is comfortably wearing size 12 month clothes and size 3 shoe (although we are getting ready to step up to a 4).
- takes one "big" nap after lunch (2 hours) but loves a car cat-nap whenever she can get it.
- is a rockstar sleeper - always good for a solid and straight 11-12 hours. Clearly this is something that you cherish just like your Mama!
- loves to play outside with her sister and brother, at the playground, in the playroom, with everyone else's toys.
- sometimes likes to just sneak away in her bedroom or our room & just play quietly by herself with whatever has caught her eye & attention.
- loves to snuggle, rest her head on a shoulder while she nuzzles into Mommy or Daddy's neck, & just be held - especially after just waking up.
- is convinced she knows how to open the gate at the top of the stairs. She just needs a little help being lifted up to reach & turn.
- enjoys stroller runs, bike rides with her little helmet on the back of my bike and being pushed around in her little push car that she got for her birthday.
- loves being the baby of the family but is also trying to be one of the big kids at the same time.
