The things she says & does

Just so I don't forget about the things she says & does...
  • Giggles hysterically at things she thinks are funny.
  • When she is upset, her eyes immediately fill with tears and she has trouble catching her breath.
  • She loves morning snuggles.
  • When she says goodnight to you, she wants you to lay down with her, talk with her, and give her your undivided attention.
  • She is a tremendous helper - baking cookies, setting the table, sorting the laundry and even backing the car into the garage.  She is the epitome of "ride-hand-man."
  • It's sick how strong this little girl is.  Seriously.  She is a ball of muscles packed into 3.5 feet of sweetness.
  • Abby is a rule girl.  She wants (and expects) all others to follow the rules that are laid out and if people aren't following the rules, she is quick to point them out... even if it has nothing to do with her.  Sometimes this gets her into trouble.
  • She is not a huge fan of TV.  If it's not Henry Hugglemonster or Team Ummi Zoomi, her attention is lost and she would prefer to do something else.
  • Loves puzzles - and she is getting really good at them too!
  • Loves to dance - or as she says, "Shake her booty!"
  • Loves to read books.  All kinds.
  • Can identify every letter (in any order) of the alphabet.  Can identify her numbers into the 30s.
  • Can do simple arithmetic... 3+2, 1+4, etc.
  • Always wants to know what is on the agenda & schedule for the next day.  What were doing?  Where were going?  What time something starts.
  • I used to think that Thomas was my most sensitive child - I think Abby is the new winner.
