The kids got a special treat on New Years Eve... a sleepover at Grannie & Grandpop's house complete with going out to dinner for pizza & hitting up the game/ride arcade at the mall. And you know what that means for my hubby and me? When there are no kids around, that means we switch modes and get to enjoy some couple time which included dinner out at Hibachi followed by a movie & actually staying up until 12 midnight. I won't even sugar coat it... it was really, really nice. Thank you Grannie & Grandpop for giving us the opportunity to do that. Guess with us moving so far away, we won't have nearly as many of those kind of nights.
Gearing up with overnight bags
Daddy even rolled up the Lightening McQueen sleeping bag and attached it to the backpack
Enjoying some time on the rides with a new friend
Thinking about a future career in the food industry?
Thomas would LOVE this. Matter of fact a few times this past summer/fall when the Ice Cream Man has driven by our house and we have stopped him to enjoy a cold treat, Thomas has asked if all the ice cream was his? When I said "yes," Thomas already seemed to be contemplating his first entrepreneur move.
