Brian took the day off from work on Friday and we took full of advantage of doing some relaxing in the morning and putting the boat in the water in the afternoon. As much as we would have liked to bring Abby with us, we felt like giving Thomas some 1-on-1 time out on the water where he could have all of our attention and enjoying throwing the fishing rods in the water to try and catch some fish! We had a great time out on the East Bay (didn't go off shore because of the winds and because we didn't have hours to be on the boat). Check out my two boys at peace out on the boat...
Notice the security rope that Brian attached to Thomas' fishing rod - we don't want that to end up in the bottom of the Bay.
It really was gorgeous out there. If you are ever having a bad day, stressful day, busy day - just take a few moments to go out to the beach, walk out on a dock, or put the boat in the water and go for a ride... it will change your mood immediately!
