August, really? You are here already?
- Unfortunately that means in another month the summer will be long gone. I will be savoring this last month of summer for sure!
- I'm certainly enjoying the Olympics & watching Team USA dominate the games; however, I do not like the fact that I have not seen anything live or without knowing the results ahead of time. Darn you Alaska time zone.
- I'm embarrassed to say that I have yet to see Team USA play soccer. Darn you Alaska time zone.
- On that same note, Thomas has taken a special interest in the Olympics. Each day he asks what game (sport) is on? Are "we" playing? Are "we" winning? It is really neat to see him exposed to & learning about so many other sports that he knows little about... like water polo & archery.
- Abby starts gymnastics up again next week... let the tumbling, running, jumping, swinging, balancing & climbing begin for her!
- Speaking of more sports, Thomas is really doing well in soccer this season. The only downfall is when he has "late" games (ie: 6:30pm) in the middle of the week... the boy is run down & you can see him looking like a zombie by mid-game. We are working on taking a short nap on those days.
- Marilyn is a running fool. Seriously. She loves to run, play, & laugh. She is an absolute hoot.
