MSgt and Mrs...
Although Brian was gone all week at the Top Performers Awards celebration week, I was lucky enough to scoot up to Moody AFB (GA) on Thursday afternoon to meet up with him. The awards banquet that evening was truly a special evening as Brian, along with many other Air Force civilians, officers and enlisted were honored for being the top performers in their squadrons & their respective wings.
My favorite part of the evening was getting to be next to this devilishly handsome fellow all dressed up with lots of bling-bling hanging on his chest and around his neck.
However, everyone in attendance was humbled when we were able to witness the Honor Guard construct a memorial called the Fallen Soldier's Cross in memory of all of our lost military members not only this year, but in our country's history.
And as a lasting memorabilia from the evening...
We stole took were given the center piece from the table and brought it home to Thomas & Abbigail figuring they would enjoy the C-130 and the parachuter (symbolic of Daddy being an Airborne Jumper).
