Adjusting & Enjoying!

It has certainly been a week (actually less than) of adjusting to Baby Abby at home with us. Not sure if it is more of an adjustment on Mommy & Daddy (up through the night) or big brother Thomas having to share his time with his sister. Anyway, life presses on and here is a glimpse of what is happening this week at the house...

Daddy built Thomas an Indian tent in the middle of the family room (for his own personal space). By this point though, the top was off and trucks were everywhere. It was one of those days where all we did was play and watch movies. By the way, can you see where Abby is parked during all the fun?
Chiotic fun!
Thomas carries Ziggy's bowl of food everynight from the garage to the backyard - he thinks of it as his responsibility. But on this night, him and Daddy took the long way around through the yard and he put to use his big dump truck to haul the food. Pretty creative if I say so!

Every day there has been lots of Daddy & Thomas time. Thomas loves to water the new tree out front - actually, I really think he loves the water. Period. In between drinking and playing with it, the tree gets a little drink here and there!

Precious little Abby snoozing away the day. Hmmmm.... if I could just switch her days & nights around! I'm working on that.
Today, Daddy & Thomas worked out in the front yard pulling all the weeds, transplanting bushes, throwing away old shrubs and raking out all the old mulch in preparation for the new stuff coming in this week. Brian is really trying to make sure the upkeep on the outside of the house is done before he leaves - god knows this will make it so much easier on me. Notice Daddy's little helper with his own gardening gloves on pulling weeds (or grass... not sure which one). He came inside all proud that he was as dirty as Daddy.
