Friday Night Leftovers (Crunch time version)

It's crunch time people.  There is not much more to say other than "TGIF!"
  • All of Brian's hard work with the house has paid off... we have a tenant.  The even better news is he has signed a long term lease.  Amen.  You have no idea how stressful (especially for my hubby) it has been to have so many interested people, yet no solid deals.  Next step... rent a fully furnished place for us to enjoy for the final month we are here starting at the end of June!
  • This weekend, the goal is to wash baby clothes, set up the baby's room and continue to clean things out.
  • Speaking of cleaning out... it feels so good to throw things away, shred unimportant things, and pack things up.  Love. Cleaning. Out.
  • Mother's Day weekend started this morning with a little to-go bag of breakfast yummies from our daycare director... Ms. Joele is so thoughtful and caring.  Thank you for thinking of me Ms. Joele!
  • We are in the final two weeks of school which means that we are in final crunch mode... lots of afterschool reviews and extra time with students who need the 11th hour help.  You got to love the school stress!
  • We are 37 weeks pregnant this week... considered "full term" and ready to have a baby.  Now we just wait until either mother nature comes calling with labor OR May 24th arrives first... either way... Marilyn Jane will be here in less than 2.5 weeks.
  • The stress has been compounded this week with bad news about our 4-legged loved one, Ziggy.  Not to talk much about it tonight, but his pains & swelling are not good.  Not good at all.  By early next week, we should know a lot more, but difficult decisions are ahead of us with our beloved Ziggy.
  • Looking forward to a full Mother's Day weekend with the kids & my sweet hubby along with time at Grannie's and Nana's house alike.  To all of you mommies, grannies, and nanas.... enjoy your weekend!

Happy Mother's Day weekend, Mama! I can't believe you're at 37 weeks. I'm sure it has gone much faster for me than you!
Sorry to hear about Ziggy- I know that situation all too well. Many hugs.
