The neighborhood, bears and a sick little girl

So Friday was our "move in" day to our new house.  I use that term loosely because although we moved our stuff in (all that we hauled up from Florida), our moving truck with all of our household goods has not arrived.  That won't happen until this coming Friday.  Meanwhile, we have borrowed kitchen items from the Loan Closet here on base and some key pieces of furniture (beds, kitchen table & a sofa) from the base as well.  Needless to say, not much is in the house.  But the good thing is we are in our house and already getting comfortable.

Thomas & Daddy already had a chance to hit 1 of the 3 playgrounds in our neighborhood yesterday - look who already made a friend?  Speaking of friends, I am pretty confident that Thomas is going to meet lots of little friends because there are kids EVERY where here.  Mommy is happy.
As I already said, we don't have any of our furniture or things yet.  Yesterday morning when we got to the house and unloaded the truck it was pretty close to lunch & nap time.  After eating, we set up little cozy corners for the kids to nap - Abby was loving this corner in the upstairs family room.  She was so cozy that the furniture moving guys + the cable/Internet guy arrived at the house, did their thing, and she still didn't wake up after 2.5 hours.  I guess we had one tired little girl.  Moving will do that to a new 2-year old.
No, this is not one of Thomas' new friends, however he is a local.  Thomas is wondering when he will see a real one.  Not Mommy.
Some moments they are playing and laughing together; other moments, there is screaming, crying and pinching.  Auhhhh, siblings.  As my mom used to tell my sister and me... she/he will be your best friend when you are older.  Hope that is true with them.
Daddy & Marilyn one night last week.  She watches everything and everyone.
In the middle of the week, Abby fell victim to a high temperature (which of course meant ear infection for her).  We weren't even here one week and already visiting the doctor for meds.  Poor little girl was knocked out on the couch in the middle of the morning.  Of course that didn't help her already constant whinyness.
