Check

It's funny what happens when you have a "deadline" - by that I'm referring to a return date. When you know "when", all of a sudden EVERYTHING needs to get done ASAP. Of course I have always known what those things are, but now those things MUST be done before Brian returns:
(Check) ALREADY DONE...

• truck washed, waxed, vacuumed... look'in brand spank'in NEW for the hubby
• lawn mowed, edged, weed-eated... looks just as good as if the hubby did it himself
• house was deep cleaned on Thursday (everything including fans, baseboards, etc)
• carpets steam cleaned 2 weeks ago during Spring Break... clean, clean, clean!

NEED TO GET 'R DONE...

• serious grocery shopp'in - stock up on all of hubby's favorite
• need to spend some money at the liquor & beer store - hubby's favorite
• for my own needs... haircut, mani/pedi, nice outfit to wear when he returns (none of these are necessary, but all of them must be done for my own satisfaction)... 7.5 months is a long time to be away from the man you love.
