Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny came 3x over and my kids have seen more eggs than they have in the last 2.5 years combined... but we had a great long weekend and got to share it with our loved ones! I'll keep the commentary to a minimum with this post... most of the pictures speak for themselves starting with this morning...

We headed over to Niceville to visit with Nana, Auntie Jen and Uncle Ash and enjoy the beautiful day. Temperatures reached mid to upper 70s and it was gorgeous... so much so that most everyone wanted to hit the pool (despite the low 70s water temps... to a Floridian, that is WAY cold)! Abby sporting her first ever bathing suit and of course getting lubed up with some SPF so as to not get her first burn of the summer.

She loved it...
Just like the tubby, she wanted to splash and play...

Thomas on the other hand was very busy moving water from the pool to the dirt... I think he had some construction project going on.
Then he realized that almost everyone else had been in the pool but him so he got brave...
... and had a ball! Although he finally admitted that he was cold and needed a "cozy" towel.Thomas & Abby getting yet another Easter basket with MORE stuff; and of course Abby in a pretty dress... yes, it is blue... you know what I think of blue after Friday right? But I figured NO ONE in their right mind would consider her a boy if it was a dress... thank god!
We enjoyed one final egg hunt and the late afternoon weather outside together before we headed home.
Who knows how much candy he has eaten this weekend... I'm sure it isn't pretty.
