After arriving in Bellingham, WA early the morning on Day 5, we packed the truck back up and headed south about 90 miles to Seattle. Our intentions were to spend the day schlepping around downtown Seattle and stretching our legs.
It was perfect.
Here's a pictorial recap of our day in this beautiful city.
The gum wall in Post Alley
The famous Pike's Place Fish Market
Fresh vegetables and fruit as far as the eyes can see...for cheap!
And seafood caught fresh from the Pacific!
The piers...where we headed for dinner later that night.
We picked an incredible crab place for dinner. Can you tell by the pile?
But the best part was we got to meet up with an old hunting buddy of Brian's from Guam. It had been every bit of 6 years since we had seen Ike and it was great to spend the evening with him.
And we topped the night off with ice cream!
Perfect way to stretch our legs and our bellies after spending 5 days on a boat.
Florida or Bust!
