Dashing through the snow,
In a one-horse open sleigh,
Over the fields we go,
Laughing all the way!
We bundled up tonight and said ‘giddy up' as we took a lesiourly sleigh ride through Anchorage’s beautiful winter wonderland. Very nostalgic & something you would find out of a postcard, we climbed aboard a horse-drawn sleigh, with Summer & Raven leading the way, we snuggled together, while enjoying the fresh crisp air against our face.
When we arrived back to the cabin,
we were greeted by a roaring fire & hot chocolate to warm ourselves and then we roasted some marshmallows & indulged in a gooey delight.
What a perfect way to end our Christmas vacation - seeing the beautiful winter Alaskan countryside while we snuggled together & stayed warm. It was peaceful & picturesque behind words.
One more thing crossed off the Alaska bucket list!
