Looking forward to 2010!

We knew that 2009 was going to be an insanely busy year... pregnancy, TDYs, deployments, toddler, new baby, 5-year wedding anniversary, etc... but it was a good one and I wouldn't trade it for a slow boring one at all. On the other hand, we are looking forward to 2010 and hopeful that it will be a year where our family is together more than we are apart and we get to see loved ones whereever they may be. A few things we are hoping to experience, accomplish, celebrate and enjoy in the upcoming year:

  1. A new "MSgt" in the house next month (not literally in the house though)
  2. Losing the babyweight... almost there but having a new double running stroller will help do the trick!
  3. The end of another LONG deployment in early spring
  4. Many, many milestones for Abby... something new is happening with her every week (eating new foods, sitting up and rolling over)
  5. Thomas learning by leaps and bounds. He has already tackled numbers to 20, letters, colors and shapes. Oh and the sentences he puts together - hilarious! What will "3" hold for him?
  6. Continuing to complete my 2nd Masters degree in Educational Leadership... oh where is the end?
  7. FISHING, FISHING, FISHING when Brian returns. Whether it is fishing in the Gulf, the Bay or taking a new adventure to Key West and maybe even Mexico to get some R&R and catch some big fish!
  8. and the most important... time together as a family! I can't wait.

Wishing all of you bloggers and followers a Happy New Year!
