We knew that 2009 was going to be an insanely busy year... pregnancy, TDYs, deployments, toddler, new baby, 5-year wedding anniversary, etc... but it was a good one and I wouldn't trade it for a slow boring one at all. On the other hand, we are looking forward to 2010 and hopeful that it will be a year where our family is together more than we are apart and we get to see loved ones whereever they may be. A few things we are hoping to experience, accomplish, celebrate and enjoy in the upcoming year:
- A new "MSgt" in the house next month (not literally in the house though)
- Losing the babyweight... almost there but having a new double running stroller will help do the trick!
- The end of another LONG deployment in early spring
- Many, many milestones for Abby... something new is happening with her every week (eating new foods, sitting up and rolling over)
- Thomas learning by leaps and bounds. He has already tackled numbers to 20, letters, colors and shapes. Oh and the sentences he puts together - hilarious! What will "3" hold for him?
- Continuing to complete my 2nd Masters degree in Educational Leadership... oh where is the end?
- FISHING, FISHING, FISHING when Brian returns. Whether it is fishing in the Gulf, the Bay or taking a new adventure to Key West and maybe even Mexico to get some R&R and catch some big fish!
- and the most important... time together as a family! I can't wait.
Wishing all of you bloggers and followers a Happy New Year!
