Happy Memorial Day - Miss you Daddy!

That's it! I miss Daddy so much that I'm packing myself up and I need you to send me out ASAP to Daddy! Wouldn't he be surprised to find me in the box instead of all of the magazines and snacks that Mommy sends him. I know for sure he would like me much better - "I miss you & love you Daddy!"
Just getting some pool time this Memorial Day weekend!

My girlfriend Isabella and me. Notice that I am sharing my remote control with her - that is a very big step for me.

But in the end, I still have the remote just like Daddy always does. Poor Mommy!

Party, Party, Party!

This is Bob the Builder and me. This is the kind of truck that Daddy can drive when he is building things at work.

I had such a great time today at my friend Chris' birthday party. I hung out with Chris' younger sister, Nikki (who is 2) most of the party. She even let me ride one of the rides with her. We danced to the music and even ate pizza and cake (mommy was a little worried) and had a great time! I climbed big stairs and went down a fun slide all by myself. I am such a big boy now and Mommy is so excited because I am walking now with only holding onto her one hand. It won't be long before I'm doing it all by myself!

New Toys

Go Choctaw Indians! Mommy and I always wear our school colors on Fridays! Choctaw H.S. is the school that Mommy teaches at and even the "Baby Indians" wear their green!

My new waterpark toy. This was a "dry run" with no water. Mommy had just finished putting it together and she wanted to see what I thought of it. Looks good to me!
Check out this water wheel!

I'm a little unconventional - I try things the "different" way. Mommy says that I'm so much like Daddy when I try things and do things the "not normal" way. Who knows what she's talking about...this way is just fine.

This is me standing next to my new slide - I've tried it out a few times this weekend and I'm really starting to like it. I can't quite climb the stairs yet myself, but once I'm up there with Mommy's help - I love sliding down!

Special Mother's Day

Today was Mommy's special day! I had some help from Grannie, Poppie, Nana, Aunt Jen and of course Daddy to help make this a wonderful 1st Mother's Day for Mommy. We went to eat by the water & the boats today and everything was just perfect. I'm even starting to feel a little better after all of my infections lately. As you can see by the pictures, I had a great time. We saw big boats docked nearby (many of which I think Daddy would like). We saw big seabirds (as I like to call them) and I even got to take a turn at the old-time sailing wheel. But by the late afternoon, the day had caught up with me and I was out in dream land.

Air Force "Brat"

Don't you like my new t-shirt that Grannie got me? It's my first Air Force shirt - that officially makes me an Air Force "Brat" like Mommy was when she was growing up.

Peek-a-Boo... I see you!
Look - there is a green egg in here Mommy!
Oh my goodness... there is also a red egg in here! This is great!

Relay for Life

Relay for Life
This weekend, I joined many of my collegues who I teach with and participated in the Relay for Life. Thanks to all of you who supported me as we helped to raise money and fight against Cancer! We had a blast (although exhausting) staying up all night Friday night doing this - what made it even more fun was the fact that so many of our students joined us for this great cause!
There was so many touching moments throughout the night with the survivors who were leading the way, but truely the most touching one for many of us was the fact that we came together to remember our dear friend Paula Buchanan (who has taught with us for years at Choctaw HS) who lost her battle with cancer this year.

Learning & getting by

It is tough work learning how to get food out of these small bowls. Really, the easiest thing to do is just dump it onto the tray. If you do that, then you can move the food around and smash it much easier. I keep telling Mommy this. Oh well - more mess for her when I get down to play.

Despite me trying to make it through another ear infection - I can still manage a few smiles (and drool) for Mommy.
