2 weeks old & growing

As you can see...I'm famous! Well, at least at the legendary 823rd RED HORSE Squadron (where daddy works). They announced my birth on the big sign at the entrance!

My first "at-home" sponge bath did not go over so well......I was really cold and mommy & daddy didn't seem to understand that I have NO fat on me and get chilly very easily!

But alas.... a warm towel in daddy's arms solves all the world's problems!

My other favorite place to cuddle up is mommy's arms after I am done eating!

Daddy's 1st Father's Day

Mommy told me that I was the best Father's Day present that daddy could have ever gotten ... ME! We spent the day just hanging out at the house and then went over to Poppy & Minny's house for dinner. Poppy is who I was named after which is really neat...we are both Thomas! I know that all 3 of us boys had a great time together that night. I can't wait to meet my other 2 grandpas this summer when they each come and visit me. Anyway...daddy told me that night when he put me to bed that this was the best daddy's day gift ever!

Happy Birthday Thomas!

Thomas Joseph Heck is finally here and we are absolutely amazed! As you can see, sleeping (even with mommy) is quite common in our house right now. Notice that Booker and Zig (the original babies) are everywhere that Thomas is. Believe it or not, they have been wonderful with him. Booker (being the old man) is quite protective and just wants to lay down in whatever room he seems to be in with us, while Zig on the other hand is very curious and nosey... he wants to lick and kiss Thomas all of the time.

Our new little blessing

Thomas Joseph Heck was born at 4:36 am on Wed, June 13th at Eglin AFB Hospital. You can see how proud daddy is early that morning as he got to hold his son for the first time. We also got to have our first family photo taken - although mommy is not looking great at all after all of the those hours in labor and then having to have a C-section. The entire Heck family is doing well (including Booker and Zig who are adjusting to thier new "brother" in the house).

Thomas Joseph Heck is here!!!
