Dawn to Dusk

Just a quick glimpse by pictures of our day from Dawn to Dusk...

The day started a little earlier than expected.  Clearly I had two munchkins who did not get the memo about sleeping in... at least until 7am.  Nope, at 5:45am the house was awake.  Daddy had an excuse... he had to work all day... but everyone else should have still been asleep.  Notice the clock in the background here... it was 6:10 and we already were in full swing with the cars & trucks.

 By breakfast time, we decided that some freshly squeezed orange juice was in order.  Abby was thrilled to help be my little juicer and then drink it all.

 The morning was filled with errands.  When the checklist was complete we headed over to McDonalds for some lunch & some playtime on the indoor playground.  Smiles & giggles by all.

 After nap time, we headed down to the dock to see if any blue crabs had made their way into our traps that Daddy & the kids set out late yesterday afternoon.  We were hoping for some freshly steamed up crabs for dinner tonight... but to no avail, the crab pots (or crab "caves" as Thomas calls them) were empty.

 Because there were no crabs for dinner, we decided to head out to dinner tonight.  Nothing fancy, just a quaint little joint down by the water and enjoy some shrimp.  Both kids ate like truck drivers (they both must be going through growth spurts) and Abby even indulged in some fresh lemon...

 And because it was just a nice evening, we headed next door for some yummy ice cream for dessert.

And there you have it... a Saturday with the Hecks from dawn to dusk.

Now Mommy & Daddy want to pass out.

I can't believe we are going to be even more tired in less than 10 days when we become a party of FIVE!
