Happy Indpendence Day America!
The Hecks have BBQed themselves silly this entire weekend and I'm quite sure that I've gained 10 lbs to prove it... but boy was it all good! It has been delightful to just relax, swim everyday and have a lot of quality time with the kids.
Nana (as well as Grannie & Grandpop) have also gotten quite a bit of quality time with the kids.
Here is Nana with her two baby girls (I think Marilyn just got done eating which is why she looks like she is in a milk coma).
Video Clip - We have come a long way since signing up for the "dud" swim lessons a few weeks back. I guess all we needed was some quality time at Grannie's pool. Now, Thomas does the best blastoff pool jumps this side of the Mississippi. And his little sister is fearless, which makes her blastoff jumps a bit nerve wracking for Mommy... but ohhhh soooo proud of both of them! BTW... sorry for the annoying high pitched yelling voice but sometimes you just gotta just use that awful Mommy excited voice!
