Friday Night Leftovers (Spring is Over edition)

• Our "warm" Spring weather is gone and it appears we have returned to winter once again.  Although I would love to have some fresh snow, the abundant sunshine we are getting isn't half bad either.
• By the end of the weekend, we will be up to 8 hours of daylight.  We are S-L-O-W-L-Y climbing out of the dark Alaskan winter.
• Thomas' winter indoor soccer season begins this next week.  With his practice & game schedule in hand & now added to my calendar(s), it has become very obvious that February & March are going to be insanely busy. 
• Speaking of March, we are only about 5 weeks away from defrosting in Florida over Spring Break!
• Brian & I had another afternoon of purging & organizing paperwork.  I have 2 observations about that: 1) it always feels damn good to clean out and 2) why in the heck have I held on to so much crap over the years?
• At this moment, Thomas does not have any type of "audition act"... no disco music, no disco costume, and no disco moves.  I have a feeling we are going to have to get to work ASAP if he really wants to audition for the school Talent Show next week.
• We measured the kids tonight & our suspicions were correct... Marilyn grew another 1/2 inch.  The girl is gaining on her sister like no one's business.
